About Jonathan Feldman

I live in Asheville, North Carolina, in the middle of a national treasure: the Pisgah National Forest and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.  I am lucky enough to be a husband and father, and enjoy trail running, swimming, biking, camping, and retro electronics with my family.  I do some adventure running with friends who are as crazy as I am.  

I work for the City of Asheville as the director of Information Technology Services.  Because of my passion for understanding the deeper reasons behind organizational business technology decisions and what makes business technology innovation a success, I do a fair amount of research and analysis on my own, and these writings tend to get picked up by InformationWeek magazine orInformationWeek Analytics.  I enjoy speaking about these things as well, and have done so at Interop,Cloud Connect, and other industry events.
